Union Recording is my recording studio and performance venue in Gastonia, NC. The name “Union” was inspired by the Gastonia textile mill strike of 1929, the first strike to take place in NC. I based the typeface on an old local mill logo and I drew inspiration for the interior design from Ralph Lauren.
